COVID19 - Measures regarding suspension of safety training classroom courses
Following the measures currently implemented by CERN in response to the Covid-19 situation, all classroom safety training sessions are suspended until further notice.
If during this exceptional suspension the validity of a classroom course comes to an end, this will have no immediate adverse effect on access rights. CERN Safety training has taken measures to grant temporary extensions as necessary on the understanding that the persons concerned will enroll in the corresponding refresher trainings when the operation is back to normal at CERN.
Persons that were already enrolled in a classroom training seesion affected by the suspension should enroll again when safety training has resumed.
All online courses remain available throughout this period and should be followed as required.
Albeit its persnnel is reduced, the Safety Training service (safety-training@cern.ch) remains available to answer questions in case of need.
